Baby "Carrie" + Charlotte

Here is Charlotte giving hugs to Baby on the way to Vesa's this morning. Yes, Baby goes to Vesa's now too. Don't let the 'sweetness' fool you - right after these photos she threw Baby to the floor. Thunk.

Baby 'Carrie'

Gammy and I picked up a baby and stroller for Charlotte after our trip to the zoo; her name is Carrie (a Cabbage Patch Kid like this one). Charlotte is obsessed - sleeps with her, carries her around, says, "baby" all the time, covers her up and says, "night, night," gives her a bottle and pushes her all around the house in her jogging stroller. Will have to be sneaky and get some video.

Zoo, Part II

Went to the zoo again this past weekend with Gammy + GrandDad. This time we got to see the elephants AND pandas. The line was way too long for the pandas last time; not sure how we missed the elephants. Thanks to you, Gammy + GrandDad, for a wonderful week!

The Gym

I joined the gym. I've got about 5 weeks to get into shape for the bikini and beach. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - 5AM @ the gym. Yes, I said 5AM. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be abs with Tracy Anderson, slightly modified @ home. And then I'll be running with Charlotte Sunday mornings. Gotta get in shape.

Waiting For GrandDad

Charlotte and I tried to keep busy while Daddy went to pick GrandDad up at the airport! We wanted to wait until the guys got home to eat dinner - it's tough distracting a hungry little monkey...played with Mommy's cell phone, packed and unpacked her bag, threw Little People off the foot rest, climbed and tumbled on the chair + a half and that is just getting started.

Quick Update

Yes, I realize I've not posted in a bit. Here is what's been a happenin'...

+ bought this to house all of Charlotte's toys in the family room

+ C had blood drawn (from her arm | to test for allergies) for the first time; she was
very brave

+ C is to see a pulmonologist May 4th - on pulmicort + singulair 1x a day until then to
keep her breathing smoothly

+ 15 month check-up - all good! 25lbs + 31inches tall (something like 75th and 80th
percentile)

+ PapPap + GG came to visit and we went to the zoo

+ Charlotte + I both got sick again and are now on the mend

+ Charlotte says, "no," to most any question you ask her

+ Easter egg hunt was very fun and we ran in to Aunt Kirsten, Cole + Ellie

+ When I arrive to pick C up from Vesa's at the end of the day, she runs to get her coat and hands it to me. It's cute.

+ I am completely obsessed with Amish Friendship Bread. The cinnamon-y sugar goodness is just too much!

+ New words for Charlotte - bye-bye, mommy (no longer mama), melmo (elmo), ra-roo (what we call her pacifier) and during our morning run Sunday she kept saying, "Hi, baby!", over and over again.

+ C signs "more" all the time now and says, "Mo!" (for more, of course) at the same time
