A visit from Mimi + GrandDad is never complete without a pony ride! Charlotte is getting so good. Will there be riding lessons in her future?

Meeting Caroline
The day Stevens asked me to marry him. The day we were married. The day we found out we were expecting. The day we welcomed Charlotte Alexandra into this world. The day we found our we were expecting baby number two. The day welcomed Caroline Ballard Young into our family. The day our girls first met...
...these (are just a few) of my favorite things :)

What's Going On...
...What's going
Tell me what's going on
I'll tell you, what's going on
(a little Marvin Gaye to set the tone just right)
December 2011
Charlotte played skeeball for the first time; oh, how I love that game! Not gonna lie, I did step in and win that little lady some tickets.
Charlotte turned F O U R !!! We celebrated and invited a bunch of her friends over for an afternoon of cookie decorating. Imagine — a whole room full of 3-4 year olds making quite a mess! And, yes, the balloon did get stuck.
A very Merry Christmas was had by all! Charlotte's fav's this year included a dollhouse (taller than her!), pink cowgirl boots and a Leapster. Mimi and GrandDad flew in for their yearly holiday visit and stayed through the new year too :)
January 2012
Mid-January we headed up north for a post-holiday gathering. Though it was busy, I think we did the best ever and got around to visit and spend ample time with everyone! Charlotte even got to skiing for the first time...
Please excuse the mismatchery - I wasn't really feeling the pants I had on earlier in the day.
February 2012
Growing by the day! Here we were at 31 weeks and 5 days...
March 2012
Photos of the girls just chillin; it's so great how Daisy has really come around...
Charlotte is now playing soccer. We signed her up for an 8-week intro session with Cobb FC and she loves it; Stevens is coaching. She's on the green team, also known as the "Dinosaur Ninja Turtles." The team, mostly boys, didn't want to go with Charlotte's suggestion of "The Princesses."
Sheesh. 36 weeks and 5 days. Even. Bigger.
Charlotte's Spring Sing was a success! They sang "I Love you, I Love You," "Months of the Year," "Caterpillar Story," "Doodley Doo" and "Zippity Doo Dah. Videos can be seen here.
